Faculty Development Workshop

The Faculty Development Workshop was conducted to enhance academic staff members’ knowledge, competencies, and professional practices in teaching, learning, assessment, research, leadership, and student support. Through presentations, interactive discussions, and practical activities, participants explored contemporary educational approaches, innovative teaching methods, effective assessment strategies, technology-enhanced learning, and quality-assurance practices relevant to higher education.

The workshop strengthened faculty members’ confidence and capacity to deliver effective, inclusive, and student-centred education. It supported the adoption of innovative teaching and assessment methods, encouraged reflective practice and collaboration, and enhanced the quality of curriculum delivery and student support. The activity also promoted continuous professional development, strengthened institutional academic standards, and contributed to improved student learning experiences and outcomes.
