Speaking at the university’s graduation ceremony, The Maldives National University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Abdul Rahman Mubaarique, reminded the graduates of the university’s philosophy, ‘Ilm and Eeman’ (Knowledge and Faith). He highlighted the importance of faith in achieving success and maintaining good mental health. He further stated that although the graduates have reached a high milestone of academic success today, they must regard faith as the compass of their lives. He further urged them to continuously strive to increase their faith alongside their knowledge, in order to become successful individuals in both this world and the hereafter.
