The Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE), The Maldives National University (MNU), in collaboration with the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement (NCPLE), conducted a professional development session on Blended Learning on 2 November 2026.

The session was attended by members of the MPS Training Advisory Committee, lecturers, and NCPLE staff involved in training and development.

The session was facilitated by Roza Ibrahim and Aminath Zifna from CETE, who introduced the concept of blended learning and demonstrated how digital learning platforms, including Moodle, can be integrated into training to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

The initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting innovative teaching approaches and lifelong learning opportunities. It also contributes to SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening institutional collaboration and knowledge sharing, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through the promotion of digital technology and innovation in education and training.

CETE appreciates the collaboration with NCPLE and remains committed to supporting institutions in integrating educational technology into teaching, learning, and professional development.

This initiative reflects MNU’s continued commitment to advancing technology-enabled education and strengthening partnerships to promote quality and innovative learning practices.
