An Audit Awareness Session was conducted for Foundation Studies students at the Centre for Foundation Studies, Maldives National University. The session introduced students to basic auditing concepts and highlighted the relevance of auditing in business. It provided students with an opportunity to gain practical knowledge about the role of internal auditing in promoting accountability, transparency, effective controls, and sound organizational practices. The session was delivered by members of the Internal Audit Association of the Maldives, allowing students to gain insights from professionals with experience in the field. The activity helped students connect their academic learning with professional practices and develop a broader understanding of auditing and its importance in business organizations.
