The Center for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE) at the Maldives National University (MNU) conducted a two-hour training workshop titled “Designing Interactive Learning Journeys with Moodle Lessons,” with 27 academic staff participating.
The training was facilitated by Lead Instructional Designer Aminath Zifna and held in two sessions: an in-person session at the E-Facilitation Room on 25 October and an online session via Google Meet on 26 October 2026.
The workshop provided practical guidance on creating interactive Moodle Lessons, designing learning pathways, and using AI tools to develop lesson content, questions, and feedback. Participants also explored ways to use Moodle Lessons in face-to-face, blended, online, and self-paced learning.
The training supports SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting effective and engaging learning experiences, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by encouraging the use of digital technologies in education, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing among academic staff.
Through such initiatives, CETE continues to support academic staff in improving their digital teaching skills and creating more engaging learning experiences for students.
