The Maldives National University (MNU) continued to expand access to international professional certification examinations through its Pearson VUE Test Centre in 2025, with 99 candidates participating in examinations for globally recognised qualifications. The initiative provided candidates in the Maldives with opportunities to pursue professional certifications through a local computer-based testing facility.

The Pearson VUE Test Centre enables candidates to undertake examinations for professional qualifications offered by international organisations across various industries. By providing access to these examinations locally, MNU helps reduce geographical and logistical barriers, allowing both local and international candidates to pursue globally recognised credentials without the need to travel abroad solely for testing.

International professional certifications can help individuals demonstrate industry-relevant knowledge and skills, strengthen their professional profiles and pursue further career opportunities.
