Validation Workshop on Nurses’ Scope of Practice

The validation workshop reviewed the proposed nurses’ scope of practice with relevant professional and regulatory stakeholders. Participants considered role boundaries, competence, accountability, patient safety and the needs of the Maldivian health system. The consultation promoted transparent, evidence-informed standards and collaboration between education, regulation and service providers.

The workshop contributed to clearer and safer professional role expectations, strengthened stakeholder ownership and supported development of a competent and accountable nursing workforce.
