The CFOS- ABYSS team took part in the Maldives National University Students’ Union (MNUSU) English Debate Competition 2026. The debate, held as part of the annual competition organized by MNUSU, saw participants demonstrate strong argumentation and public speaking skills. The competition aims to develop students’ critical thinking, confidence, and effective communication abilities.

The MNUSU English Debate Competition follows a structured format with teams debating assigned topics. The event has grown significantly in participation over recent years, reflecting the increasing interest in debate and oratory among Maldivian students. Through their participation, ABYSS team members gained valuable experience in intellectual engagement and respectful exchange of ideas, furthering the competition’s goal of nurturing well-rounded individuals prepared for future academic and professional challenges.
