The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) at The Maldives National University (MNU) participated in the Ministry of Health’s Maldives Health Expo from 13 to 16 November 2025. Held under the theme “Together Towards a Healthy Generation,” the expo offered the public health information and activities focused on prevention and healthy living.
Hospitals and other health organisations from Greater Malé and across the Maldives joined the event. FHS’s participation connected university health education with a wider national outreach effort and created opportunities to engage visitors alongside government and clinical partners.
Public-facing education of this kind helps connect academic health knowledge with everyday decisions about prevention and wellbeing.
The expo supports SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through public education on prevention, SDG 4 (Quality Education) through accessible health information, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through joint outreach by government, healthcare and academic organisations.
