Semester 2 Primary Health Care students from the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), The Maldives National University (MNU), visited Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital from 2 to 15 November 2025. The field visit introduced them to patient services, primary health care and public health work in a regional hospital.

Observing and participating in practical activities helped students apply their studies to clinical service delivery and build professional confidence.

Such placements connect university teaching with regional health services and support professional preparation beyond the classroom.

The placement relates to SDG 4 (Quality Education) through applied clinical education and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through preparation to serve patients in regional healthcare settings.
