A staff member of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) at The Maldives National University (MNU) was involved in the Gadjah Mada International Conference on Economics and Business from 23 to 25 July 2025. Mr. Shaheeb was listed among those involved, and the conference brought together approximately 300 participants.

The conference provided a setting for academic exchange and professional networking with researchers and other attendees.

Participation in academic forums offers opportunities to exchange ideas and establish professional connections beyond the Maldives.

The conference engagement relates to SDG 4 (Quality Education) through academic exchange, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) through discussion of economics and business, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through international professional networking.
