The Workshop on Clinical Teaching was conducted for doctors involved in teaching medical students to strengthen their knowledge and skills in clinical education. The workshop was facilitated by Professor Ixora Kamisan and Professor Shareena Ishak from UKM. The programme aimed to enhance the quality of clinical education by equipping clinician educators with effective teaching strategies that bridge theoretical knowledge and patient care.

 

It also encouraged collaboration and the exchange of expertise between international medical education experts and local clinicians. By strengthening the capacity of doctors who supervise and mentor medical students, the workshop supports continuous improvement in medical education and the preparation of competent, ethical, and patient-centred healthcare professionals.
