MEDICOS volunteers from the School of Medicine conducted a health screening programme for staff members of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the National Centre for the Holy Quran as part of their community engagement activities. The initiative provided students with an opportunity to actively engage in community health promotion activities such as delivering basic health assessments and awareness services. Through their involvement, students gained practical experience in preventive healthcare, patient interaction, and health education.
The programme highlighted the importance of early detection, regular health monitoring, and promoting healthy lifestyles among working communities. By bringing together medical students and an organizational workforce, the activity supported community engagement and strengthened the role of future healthcare professionals in addressing public health needs.
