Turning existing teaching materials into varied learning resources was the focus of this NotebookLM training. Facilitated by Ibrahim Adam, Instructional Designer at the Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence, the programme introduced uploading and organising content, creating audio summaries and mind maps, and developing guided question prompts. It explored how these features can give students different ways to engage with course material and support active learning. With attention to practical and responsible AI use, the training aimed to help academic staff design useful resources, encourage critical thinking, and strengthen teaching that centres on students’ learning needs.
