P.D Workshop (Conceptualizing Research)
The Professional Development Workshop on Conceptualising Research was conducted to strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills in developing research ideas into clear and feasible studies. The workshop covered identifying research problems, reviewing relevant literature, developing research questions and objectives, selecting appropriate methodologies, and preparing a research concept or proposal. Interactive discussions and practical exercises enabled participants to apply these concepts to their areas of academic or professional interest.
The workshop enhanced participants’ confidence and competence in planning and conceptualising research. It supported the development of relevant, evidence-based research proposals and encouraged critical thinking, academic inquiry, and collaboration. The activity also strengthened the institution’s research culture and capacity to generate evidence that can inform education, healthcare practice, policy development, and community improvement.
