Global Point Prevalence Suvery-Inpatient module Auditor training was conducted by MNU- team, under the project SCALE(Stregnthening health care workforce capacity through global learning). An ongoing project is a partnership between NHS Northumbria and MNU to stregnthen the surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance(AMR) and achieving reduced hospital acquired infections and antimicrobial stewarship in selected Regional Hospitals of Maldives.

The GPPS auditor training was conducted, as a prepratory step towards conducting the GPPS at Hulhumale’ hospital. The SCALE project is aligned with strategic objective, 4 5 & 6 of the National Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance(NAP-AMR)- 2024-2029.
