On the occassion of Medical Laboratory Professionals Week 2025, “The Living Canvas “- Bacterial Agar Art competition was organized for the students and staff of FHS. The competition combined science and creativity of the participants as they created artistic designs using bacterial cultures on agar plates. Throughot the activity, emphasis was given on maintaining proper asceptic techniques and safe handling of the specimen.

The competition provided a unique and engaging learning experience by combining scientific knowledge with artistic expression. The activity reinforced the importance of proper aseptic techniques, safe specimen handling, and good laboratory practices in a practical and memorable way.
