The Refresher and Updating course in Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques (PST) for Batch 60 was conducted to enhance and reinforce essential survival skills for seafarers. The training provided hands-on practical drills focused on survival at sea, including the use of life-saving appliances, emergency procedures, and response techniques in distress situations. Trainees actively participated in simulated exercises designed to improve confidence, teamwork, and readiness in real maritime emergencies. The session also emphasized the importance of maintaining competency and regularly updating safety knowledge in accordance with STCW requirements. Through practical engagement and instructor-led demonstrations, participants demonstrated strong commitment and adaptability in applying survival strategies effectively.
