The Maldives National University (MNU) is participating in the Maldives Financial Expo 2026, organized by the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA). The event commenced today and is being held from 2–4 July 2026, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Hulhumalé Central Park.

As part of the expo, MNU will showcase a range of academic opportunities and provide an engaging platform for students, parents, and members of the public to learn more about the University and its programmes. Through its participation, MNU aims to create greater awareness of higher education opportunities while supporting knowledge-sharing and community engagement.

Visitors to the MNU stall will have the opportunity to explore MNU’s academic programmes and gain valuable information on higher education pathways available at the University. The stall will also feature interactive activities designed to create an informative and enjoyable experience for visitors.

Attendees can participate in interactive financial literacy activities, learn more about higher education opportunities at MNU, and collect informational materials. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enter a lucky draw for a chance to win exciting prizes.

MNU’s participation in the Maldives Financial Expo 2026 also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting access to educational opportunities and increasing awareness of higher education pathways. In addition, the initiative contributes to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by fostering financial literacy and encouraging skills and knowledge development that support future career and economic opportunities.
