The Maldives National University graduation ceremony was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Economic Development, Transport and Trade, who emphasized the important role of graduates in building a resilient, self-reliant, and values-driven Maldives.

He also referenced the President’s vision for growth rooted in Maldivian values and encouraged graduates to apply their knowledge in ways that strengthen communities and support national self-reliance.
He stressed the importance of integrity, adaptability, and service in all professions, urging graduates to consider how their work contributes to national progress. He also highlighted social responsibility in the digital age, calling for empathy, respect, and protection of human dignity as essential to maintaining social harmony.
Concluding his remarks, he encouraged graduates to follow four guiding principles: excellence, lifelong learning, compassion, and integrity, while staying grounded in their Maldivian identity. The ceremony marked a key milestone as graduates prepare to contribute to the nation’s future workforce and development.
