A special award ceremony was held at the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, where Minister Mr. Thoriq Ibrahim presented certificates to the winners and participants of the Tourism Week Poster Making Competition organised by FHTS in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Environment.

The winners of the competition were:

First Place: Ms. Aishath Rizna Jameel and Ms. Mariyam Isha Ibrahim
Second Place: Ms. Fathina Ahmed Sheem and Ms. Raaiha Mohamed Firshan
Third Place: Ms. Shaistha Zamir Ali, Ms. Aisha Jamaal and Ms. Ibaa Maiha Ismail

The competition provided a platform for students to express innovative ideas related to sustainable tourism development, reflecting the importance of aligning academic learning with national tourism priorities.

Certificates of Participation were also awarded to Ms. Eashal Ilyas, Ms. Zaina Mohamed and Ms. Fathimath Shaana.

The Faculty congratulates all winners and participants for their outstanding creativity and meaningful contributions. Their work highlights the growing awareness and dedication of FHTS students towards promoting sustainable tourism practices in the Maldives.
