As part of MNU’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement, the MNU Student Union successfully hosted a tree-planting event at MNU Thinadhoo Campus.
The activity was conducted under the MNU Tree Planting Initiative, aligned with the Government’s nationwide “5 Million Tree Project,” and organised in celebration of The Maldives National University’s anniversary. The event brought students, staff, and community partners together to promote a greener campus and encourage collective action towards a more sustainable future.
The programme was honoured by the presence of Mr. Nasrullah Ali (Deputy Mayor, Thinadhoo City Council), Mr. Ahmed Atheef (Deputy Minister, Ministry of Tourism and Environment), and Mr. Ismail Razeen Imran (Student Representative to the MNU Council and Senior Political Director, Ministry of Tourism and Environment).
MNU Thinadhoo Campus extends sincere appreciation to all guests and participants for their support and contribution to the success of this meaningful initiative.
