With the purpose of promoting scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching, learning, and curriculum designing across The Maldives National University and public as a whole, through increased awareness on the best practices of educational technology integration in the teaching and learning practices, CETE has planned to start a webinar series titled “EduTech Talk”. This activity is carried out in align with the mandates of CETE: research, promote and implementation of new and innovative ways of course delivery at MNU, promote alternative modes of course delivery across MNU, research alternative modes of course delivery across MNU, research on Technology-enabled Learning at MNU. Furthermore, it is part of the CETE’s operational plan towards achieving MNU’s strategic goal of Quality people.
The concept and format were finalised on April 25, 2023 after discussion with the DVC Academic Affairs. The webinar will be conducted as a hybrid panel discussion open for public where experts and practitioners will talk on the topics related to best practices of technology integration in teaching and learning and emerging trends and approaches for effective teaching and learning. It will be delivered online via Google Meet at e-Studio, once every 4 months per academic year, where participants are allowed to join online and take active participation in the discussion. The recordings of these webinars will be made available in the webpage of CETE that can be accessed via MNU website.
