University of Melbourne Students Visit MNU Thinadhoo Campus

MNU Thinadhoo Campus welcomed students from the University of Melbourne on 10 September 2026 for a campus visit that provided opportunities for academic exchange, student interaction, and cultural engagement.

The visit began with lunch at the campus, where the visitors were introduced to local hospitality through traditional food arranged by MNU Thinadhoo Campus. This created a warm and welcoming environment for the visiting students to connect with the campus community.

As part of the programme, the visiting students met with members of the MNU Student Union – Thinadhoo Campus Wing, Neyka. The session included student interaction and a subtle introduction to local culture through traditional and cultural activities arranged by Neyka.

The programme also included a reflection session with Faculty of Education students, allowing participants to share learning experiences, ideas, and perspectives. In addition, the visitors toured the Nursing Art Lab and other campus facilities, gaining insight into the learning environment and academic activities at MNU Thinadhoo Campus.

The visit promoted international understanding, student engagement, cultural appreciation, inclusive learning, and academic collaboration. It also provided MNU Thinadhoo Campus students with a valuable opportunity to interact with international students, exchange ideas, and strengthen confidence through cross-cultural communication.
