Professor Khawar Hameed is a digital transformation Management Consultant. He has 30 years of experience working in academia and business. He focuses on the hyperconnected digital future and digital innovation & transformation. He has worked on the concept development and implementation of pioneering technology projects focusing on technology for business, the creation of application development and testing facilities for mobile systems, large-scale regional sub-cluster programmes in mobile and wireless technologies, and high-impact cross-sector projects that build and leverage digital capability.
Khawar consults in digital strategy, training, and education across business sectors helping organisations to develop strategies and frameworks for digital transformation. He is also co-founder of Artisans of Innovation – an innovation consultancy partnership that specialises in human-centric innovation and cross-sector ecosystem development. He is Visiting Professor of Digital Transformation at the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment at Birmingham City University (UK), a Fellow of the British Computer Society (BCS), and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
