Professional development for schools

Professional development sessions for the teachers of AA.Feridhoo School was held on 27^th January 2024 on the topic “Classroom Management” and “Effective Teaching Strategies”. The sessions were carried out by Faculty of Education’s Senior Lecturer Mohamed Shihab. In addition, for the parents from the school sessions were held on the topic “Parents role in learning – How to maintain the relationship between school and teachers”.

Professional development session for the teachers of Hdh. Neykurendhoo School was held on 17^th February 2024. The topic of the session was “Classroom Management”. Session was carried out by FE Senior Lecturer Ibrahim Mohamed.

Professional development sessions for the teachers of Hdh. Atoll Education Centre were held on 17^th February 2024. The topics was “Teaching and learning using artificial intelligence” and “Improving student teacher rapport”. The session was carried out by FE Senior lecturer Mohamed Umar.

Professional development session for L.Kunahandhoo School’s teachers were held on 8-9 March 2024. The topic of the session was “Writing Exercises on E.S.L. The sessions were carried out by FE senior lecturer Asif Abdullah.

Professional development session for Hdh. Atoll School’s teachers were held on 29^th June 2024. The topic of the session was “Classroom management and team building”. The session was carried out by FE senior lecturer Ibrahim Mohamed.
