The counselling team of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Maldives National University organized an engaging awareness session on stress management for staff, focusing on practical strategies to cope with daily pressures and maintain emotional well-being. The session emphasized the importance of self-care, mindfulness, and healthy coping mechanisms in fostering a balanced work environment. In celebration of World Mental Health Day 2024, the Faculty of Health Sciences, Maldives National University joined the global theme “Mental Health at the Workplace” with a series of engaging activities promoting emotional well-being and healthy work environments. Staff members participated in an art competition titled “Express Beyond the Desk,” showcasing creative expressions of workplace wellness, while students from Psychology, Counselling, and Social Work organized interactive games to raise awareness on fostering supportive and safe workplaces.
