Digital tools have transformed the traditional learning environment, enabling educators to enhance teaching methods and offer students more engaging and personalized learning experiences. These tools provide students with access to a vast number of educational resources, including online courses, interactive learning platforms, digital textbooks, and multimedia content. Moreover, digital tools enable teachers to create more interactive and engaging learning activities that cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of their students. “Learn a Digital tool” was a series of trainings designed and delivered to introduce academic staff of MNU to different such digital tools that can be used in the teaching and learning practice. These trainings were aimed to explain the pedagogical uses of these tools to maximize the use of digital tools in learning and teaching to facilitate an interactive and engaging learning environment for students. In addition, these trainings would help to guide the academic staff to set up the tools and develop technical skills to implement it through hands-on practice. Under this banner, total 5 trainings were held to introduce five different tools. These include, “Interactive Videos with Quizzes Using H5P”, “Integration of Slido with Google Slides for Interactive Presentations”, “Adaptive Quiz in Moodle for Personalised Assessments”, “Creating e-Portfolios using Google Sites” and “Use of AI tools to create instructional materials”. The trainings were conducted from 14th September 2023 – 8th November 2023 and were facilitated by instructional designer, Ibrahim Adam. Trainings were delivered in hybrid mode where participants were allowed to attend physically as well as join online at the same time at the e-facilitation room. These trainings received overall positive feedback from participants among all the faculties including campuses.
