An engaging professional development session on Microteaching Strategies for Supporting Lower-Performing Students was conducted for teachers of Fiyoaree School on 24 June 2026.

The session focused on practical strategies that teachers can use to support students who require additional learning assistance. It encouraged teachers to reflect on lesson delivery, classroom interaction, learner support, and ways to make teaching more responsive to students’ needs.

The session was facilitated by senior lecturers from the MNU Faculty of Education, Shihanath Ibrahim and Dr. Mohamed Shameem Adam. The activity promoted teacher capacity building, inclusive classroom practice, targeted learning support, and improved teaching quality.
