Saamiya Ali obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from MNU Business School in 2019. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the Faculty of Education, which she earned in 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts in Dhivehi Language from the Faculty of Arts at The Maldives National University, completed in 2014.

Since 2015, she has been serving as the Senior Administrative Officer in the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology. Her main responsibilities are providing administrative support for the department of Architecture. In addition to this, she plays a key role in the faculty’s marketing efforts and contributes to the overall administrative functions of the faculty.
