
Rifga Rasheed is a Lecturer in the Tourism Management Department at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies (FHTS). She holds a Master in International Hospitality Management (Hons), completed in 2019, and a Bachelor of International Tourism Management (Hons) in Events Management, completed in 2014, awarded by Taylor’s University, Malaysia and Académie de Toulouse, France.
She was awarded the MNU Staff Scholarship in 2016 and received the Best Paper Award for her Master’s Dissertation in April 2018. Beyond teaching, she has contributed to the University as a former member of the MNU Academic Senate, Committee on Courses (COC), FHTS Assessment Review Committee (ARC), and FHTS Curriculum Committee (FCC).
Her teaching and research interests include sustainable and regenerative tourism, community-based tourism, destination image, and digital transformation in the tourism and hospitality industries.
