Ms. Fathimath Nasiha Abdul Muhaimin serves as the Head of the Centre for Foundation Studies at The Maldives National University (MNU). Since joining MNU in January 2011, she has been a key member of the e-learning team as a lead instructional designer at the Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence, actively involved in instructional design and e-learning facilitation. Her career reflects a sustained commitment to expanding access to quality education through the thoughtful integration of digital technologies in learning and teaching.

She holds a Master of Education from La Trobe University, Australia (2010), a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Film and Art from the same institution, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from MNU. Her research focuses on distance education and technology-enabled learning.

Ms. Nasiha has successfully passed her PhD viva voce at Universiti Sains Malaysia and is awaiting conferral of the degree. Her thesis explored self-paced online professional development for online teaching in higher education.
