Mr. Ammar Suhail is a Lecturer in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Faculty of Health Sciences, The Maldives National University. He holds a master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Initially, he started his career as a physiotherapist at Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, India. He was previously an Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India, for approximately six years. He specializes in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and is a renowned researcher in the field of Physiotherapy. He has a keen interest in research and has more than 25 publications to his name and counting. He has supervised nine Postgraduate research dissertations. He is a peer reviewer for various physiotherapy journals. He has been a member of curriculum review committees at different Universities in India. His proficiency also lies in developing, expanding, and optimizing curriculums and educational plans that significantly impact developing inquisitive physiotherapists. To accomplish this, he prioritizes attaining key educational objectives, fostering exceptional teams, and quickly adapting to new insights and advancements in the field. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys engaging in reading and blogging.
