Aminath Zifna is the Lead Instructional Designer at the Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE), The Maldives National University (MNU). She leads CETE’s training unit, designing blended learning courses and delivering workshops to enhance technology-enabled learning across the university. She began her career in 2005 with a Diploma in Secondary Teaching, later earning a Bachelor’s in Secondary Teaching (Accounting and Economics) and a Master of Education in 2013. She is currently pursuing her PhD where her research focuses on developing an AI-Managed Adaptive Scaffolding Model to enhance meta-learning, self-regulated learning, and AI literacy among undergraduate students at MNU. Zifna has presented her research internationally in the Maldives, Japan, Indonesia, India, SouthKorea and Bangkok. Additionally, she served as the lead coordinator for pilot study implementations and staff training deliverables under the international AMED project at MNU.
