Aminath Shahla holds the position of Senior Administrative Officer at the Research Development Office of the Maldives National University. In her capacity as the head of administration, she plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office and actively participates in various research projects conducted by the office.

With a career spanning over two decades in the education sector, Shahla embarked on her professional journey as a teacher before advancing to the role of school supervisor in Male city. Subsequently, she transitioned to become an assistant lecturer at a private college in Male’. Shahla’s educational background is rooted in education administration, and she has accumulated extensive experience in administrative leadership within the school system over the years.
