Aishath Hassan, MPH, is a Lecturer in Public Health at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Maldives National University, where she has been teaching since 2018. She holds a Master of Public Health, a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Health Care, and a Diploma in Primary Health Care.
Her areas of expertise include public health, primary health care, health promotion and education, immunization and vaccine programme management, and disease surveillance. She has participated in regional meetings and technical workshops on measles elimination, immunization, pandemic influenza preparedness, and influenza surveillance. Her professional experience enables her to integrate practical public health perspectives into teaching and contribute to the development of future healthcare and public health professionals.

Participated in migrant health screening and community health screening at V. Keyodhoo, and facilitated community-based health awareness sessions to promote health education and preventive health practices.
