PD Workshop (Writing Research Proposal)
The Professional Development Workshop on Writing a Research Proposal was conducted to strengthen participants’ knowledge and practical skills in preparing clear, coherent, and academically sound research proposals. The workshop covered key components such as the research background, problem statement, literature review, research questions, objectives, methodology, ethical considerations, work plan, budget, and referencing. Through presentations, discussions, and practical exercises, participants received guidance on transforming research ideas into feasible and well-structured proposals.
The workshop improved participants’ confidence and competence in planning research and writing high-quality proposals. It strengthened their ability to formulate focused research questions, select appropriate methodologies, address ethical requirements, and present research plans effectively. The activity also supported the development of fundable and implementable research projects, promoted collaboration and evidence-based practice, and strengthened the institution’s overall research capacity and culture.
