Staff of the Maldives National University Business School (MNUBS) joined communities across the country to observe National Unity Day, marking a collective occasion for civic remembrance and community resilience.

Gathering outside the campus premises, academic, administrative and support staff paid tribute to those affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. At 09:23 hrs the exact time the tsunami reached the Maldives the campus observed a moment of silence to honour the victims and show support for families affected nationwide.

This initiative supports SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by honoring disaster resilience and community heritage, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by promoting social cohesion, solidarity, and national stability.
