MNU Thinadhoo Campus students and staff, together with members of the MNU Student Union, Thinadhoo Campus Wing, Neyka, participated in the “Sagaafee Show” organised by Thinadhoo City Council to mark the 60th anniversary of the repopulation of Thinadhoo City.

The performances added colour, energy, and cultural spirit to the celebration, giving students a meaningful opportunity to showcase their talents while taking part in an important community milestone. Through their participation, students contributed to a celebration that honoured Thinadhoo’s history, resilience, identity, and continued development.

The activity promoted student engagement, cultural expression, community participation, social unity, and appreciation of local heritage. It also reflected the important role of students in preserving and celebrating cultural traditions while strengthening their connection with the wider community.

MNU Thinadhoo Campus extends heartfelt appreciation to Thinadhoo City Council for organising the event and providing students with the opportunity to participate in this meaningful celebration.
