Ms. Aishath Leeza, Senior Lecturer at MNU Business School (MNUBS), facilitated a leadership workshop titled “Leadership in Action” for Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH). The workshop was well received, with IGMH sharing highlights from the inspiring session.
The workshop was designed for IGMH ward managers and focused on leadership growth and personal development. It was facilitated in collaboration with NERC, bringing together healthcare professionals to strengthen their leadership capabilities and enhance workplace performance.
This initiative contributes to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by strengthening the leadership capacity of healthcare professionals and supporting improved health services and healthcare access. It also supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) through lifelong learning and professional development for practising managers, and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by promoting quality jobs, safe and stable working conditions, and leadership development in the health sector.
In addition, the workshop advances SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration between MNU, IGMH and NERC, demonstrating cross-sectoral dialogue and collaboration with government and health institutions.
MNUBS congratulates Ms. Leeza on this successful workshop and looks forward to continued collaborations with IGMH.
