MNU Kulhudhuffushi Campus Conducts Enrichment Session on Nursing from a Religious Point of View

MNU Kulhudhuffushi Campus conducted an enrichment session titled “Nursing from a Religious Point of View” for newly enrolled students of the School of Nursing. The session was facilitated by Dr. Mohamed Umar and explored the nursing profession in light of religious teachings and values.

The session highlighted the importance of compassion, empathy, service to humanity, respect for life, and ethical conduct in healthcare practice. Students were encouraged to reflect on how religious principles can guide professional behaviour, strengthen patient care, and shape them into responsible and compassionate healthcare professionals.

Through discussions and reflection, students gained a deeper understanding of the moral, ethical, and spiritual dimensions of nursing. The session emphasized the importance of integrating professional knowledge with strong personal values to provide quality patient care.

Students appreciated the discussions on compassion, ethical responsibility, and service to others.
