Scholarship Awarding Ceremony was held at MNU Gan Campus to recognize and support students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Climate Change. Through the ENDhERI project, implemented by the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy, sponsorship awards were officially presented to 12 students pursuing undergraduate degrees in the field of environment.
Scholarship recipients expressed their appreciation for the support and the opportunity to pursue their studies in climate change. The initiative expands access to higher education, encourages academic excellence, and contributes to developing skilled graduates in the field of environmental science.
The event was attended by the Minister of State for Climate Change, Environment and Energy, Honorable Abdulla Ziyaad; the Vice Chancellor of MNU, Dr. Aishath Shehenaz Adam; as well as presidents and members of local councils across Laamu Atoll.
