MNU Celebrates Dhivehi Language Day 2025 with Engaging Competitions

To commemorate Dhivehi Language Day 2025, a series of vibrant competitions was organized to promote the use, appreciation, and preservation of the Dhivehi language. The activities included a Bokibaa Competition, a Handwriting and Word Puzzle Competition, and a Letter Writing and Thaana Typing Competition.

The event aimed to encourage participants to refine their written communication skills, develop language proficiency, and deepen their understanding of Maldivian cultural heritage. Participants appreciated the opportunity to showcase their language skills and demonstrate creativity through meaningful, enjoyable challenges.

The initiative successfully enhanced participants’ writing and Thaana typing competencies while promoting the correct use of the language. By fostering active engagement, the celebration strengthened awareness of the importance of Dhivehi and encouraged its continued preservation.
