This training explored how academic staff can use NotebookLM to create engaging learning resources from their own teaching materials. Facilitated by Ibrahim Adam, Instructional Designer at the Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence, the programme introduced uploading and organising content, generating audio summaries and mind maps, and developing guided question prompts. It also explored how these features can support lesson planning and student activities. With attention to critical thinking and responsible AI use, the training aimed to help lecturers present content in varied formats and create more opportunities for active participation in learning.
