The Health Sciences Library has launched an interactive wellness display titled “Grow Through the Semester” to promote student and staff wellbeing throughout the academic semester.
The initiative aims to encourage reflection, resilience, and positive coping strategies by providing a supportive space where members of the university community can acknowledge challenges and share their experiences. Recognizing that university life can be demanding, the display emphasizes that personal growth comes not from avoiding stress, but from learning effective ways to manage it.
Visitors are invited to engage with the display by reading wellness messages and coping tips, reflecting on their own experiences, and contributing to a community board. Participants can write down a challenge or source of stress they have encountered during the semester and add their notes to the display, fostering a sense of connection and mutual support among students and staff.
Through this initiative, the Health Sciences Library seeks to promote a culture of understanding, resilience, and wellbeing while encouraging healthy coping practices within the university community.
All students and staff are warmly invited to visit the display and take part in this meaningful activity.
