The Faculty of Shari’ah and Law conducted a Moot Assessment on 18 May 2026, giving students an opportunity to bring their legal learning into a practical courtroom setting. The assessment encouraged students to apply their knowledge while developing essential skills in legal reasoning, case analysis, advocacy, and oral argument.
Students presented their arguments, analysed legal issues, and demonstrated their ability to communicate effectively in a simulated courtroom environment.
The Moot Assessment formed an important part of students’ practical legal education, helping them connect classroom learning with the skills and professional standards expected in legal practice. It also contributed to SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
