The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies (FHTS), The Maldives National University (MNU), welcomed His Excellency David Jessup, Australia’s High Commissioner to the Maldives, today to explore opportunities for international collaboration.

Discussions with the Dean, Heads of Departments, and the Industry Relations and Outreach Centres Coordinator focused on international accreditation, research collaboration, and student and staff mobility.

The Dean expressed appreciation for His Excellency’s close ties with MNU and his continued efforts to promote academic and professional exchange. The meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment to quality education, knowledge exchange, and capacity building through meaningful international partnerships that create opportunities for MNU–FHTS students, staff, and the wider community.
