Facilities at FHS?

The Faculty of Health Sciences is equipped with a comprehensive range of modern facilities designed to foster academic excellence and professional development. The Computer Laboratory offers students access to advanced technological resources essential for research, data analysis, and assignments. The Library provides an extensive collection of scholarly materials, research databases, and dedicated study areas to support independent learning. Practical training is facilitated through specialized spaces, including the Procedure Laboratory, Medical Laboratory, Physiotherapy Laboratory, Pharmacy Laboratory, and Electrotherapy Laboratory, each meticulously designed to replicate clinical and professional environments. Additionally, the faculty offers well-appointed common areas that encourage collaborative learning and quiet study. Collectively, these facilities ensure that students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and experience required to excel in the diverse fields of health sciences

Laboratories

Computer Lab ( Level 7 )

  • Our Faculty has a computer lab which allow students to work on projects and assignments that require access to computers and the internet.
  • This can enhance the learning experience and provide opportunities for students to collaborate with their peers.

Medical Lab ( Level 5 )

  • This laboratory is responsible for analyzing biological specimens, such as blood, urine, and tissue samples, to identify diseases, monitor treatment efficacy, and guide patient care.
  • Practical tests are done in this lab during the course work.

Procedure Lab ( Level 5 )

This laboratory is used to teach students clinical procedures and physical examinations done on patients. Also it is used to give them opportunity to practice those procedures and physical examinations on dummies before going to field trips and clinical postings to hospitals

Physiotherapy Lab ( Level 4 )

This laboratory is used to teach students human anatomy and physical therapies. Also this facility is used by students to practice and learn the therapies to become more thorough as well as learn human anatomy by the help of anatomical models in the lab.

Electrotherapy Lab ( Level 2 )

This laboratory is used to teach students Electrotherapies and is used by students to practice and learn those therapies in edition to scheduled class hours

Psychology Lab ( Level 5 )

This laboratory is used to teach students all psychological assessments and is also available for students to use through a booking system for self studies to practice the assessments.

Pharmacy Lab ( Level 3 )

Common Areas

Conference Hall ( Level 1 )

This hall is provided for singular events such as business conferences and meetings and examinations.

Conference hall is also used as a play area for badminton and can be booked via booking system.

Auditorium ( Level 6 )

Primarily designed to host conferences, speeches, seminars, and presentations

It is used for all types of formal assembly: lectures, award ceremonies, dramatic plays, and so on. These varied events place a range of demands on the room.

Study Areas (Level 1 & Level 2)

Study spaces give students the opportunity to “take command of their own learning”.

Students can use these areas during their free time for self study.

These areas create a good study space which is crucial for several reasons: 

  1. Minimizes Distractions: A well-defined study area helps reduce interruptions from noise, clutter, and other distractions, allowing for better concentration.
  2. Enhances Focus: A dedicated space signals to your brain that it’s time to study.

Prayer Room ( Level 2 )

  • A Prayer Room is an opportunity to draw aside, take time out and pray. It is a dedicated space where students and staff can go to pray.
  • This place has a very important role in promoting spiritual and emotional well-being. Also, provide a safe and inclusive space for individuals to connect with faith and engage in religious activities, which can help reduce stress, increase resilience, and promote a sense of community at the Faculty.

Student Common Room ( Level 7 )

  • Student common rooms are used for a variety of activities, including

1.studying: Dedicated quiet areas for individual or group study sessions.

2.Group Activities: Spaces for group discussions, meetings, and socializing.

3.Relaxation: Zones for unwinding, playing games, and other recreational activities.

Gym ( Level 2 )

  • Gym offers students and staff the opportunity to partake in a range of activities that contribute to their overall health.
  • It provides convenient access to exercise equipment, which promotes physical activity and improves overall health within a school or university.
  • Gym can be used only during the specific timings set for students and staff separately
