The Dean and academic staff of the Faculty of Education undertook an academic visit to Mahidol University and the Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS) from 10 to 16 August 2025 to observe exemplary academic and administrative practices, exchange knowledge, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
The visit provided the delegation with valuable insights into effective teaching practices, institutional management, curriculum implementation, and innovative approaches to education. Through observations and professional exchanges, the academic staff had the opportunity to learn from established practices and explore approaches that could contribute to the continued enhancement of educational quality and institutional development.
The visit supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): Quality Education by facilitating the exchange of educational best practices and promoting continuous improvement in teaching, learning, curriculum development, and academic management.
It also contributes to SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by encouraging innovation, knowledge exchange, and the adoption of effective and forward-looking approaches within educational systems. Exposure to innovative practices at Mahidol University and MUIDS provides opportunities to consider new approaches to teaching, curriculum implementation, and institutional management.
Furthermore, the academic visit directly supports SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening international collaboration, facilitating knowledge sharing, and exploring opportunities for long-term institutional partnerships. Such engagements provide a platform for building professional networks and developing future collaborative initiatives in education and research.
The visit reflects the Faculty of Education’s commitment to international engagement, continuous improvement, educational innovation, and quality enhancement, while contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals through academic collaboration and knowledge exchange.
