Faculty of Education Academics Present Research at Theveli International Conference 2025

The Dean and academic staff of the Faculty of Education participated in the Theveli International Conference 2025, organised by Maldives National University (MNU) under the theme “Evolving Paradigms: Merging Research, Evidence, and Practice” from 18 to 20 August 2025. The conference provided a valuable platform for academic staff to present their research, exchange knowledge, and engage with emerging research and evidence-based practices in education and related fields.

Faculty academic staff presented research addressing a diverse range of educational issues, including education transitions, teacher education, technological competencies, social and emotional learning, sustainability, robotics education, student learning, social media, artificial intelligence, literacy, and innovative teaching approaches.

The research papers presented included:

The research presentations highlighted the Faculty’s commitment to evidence-based education, innovation, inclusive learning, sustainability, and emerging technologies, while providing opportunities for knowledge sharing and professional networking.

The initiative supports SDG 4: Quality Education through research-informed teaching and improved educational practices; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through research on AI, robotics, and educational technology; SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities through a focus on inclusive and equitable education; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through academic collaboration, knowledge exchange, and research networking.
